San Juan County Warrant Records San Juan County Warrant Records

Use the court named on a citation to confirm the case record, and contact the Sheriff for custody or bail questions. San Juan County Justice Court handles county and Monticello city citations; Blanding City Justice Court has a separate clerk. Bluff's official site did not expose a local warrant or court page during research, so citation paperwork is especially important there. The courthouse and jail do different work. Keep those channels distinct when deciding where an official case or custody question belongs.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the sheriff's warrant unit or the issuing court directly.

Use these verified San Juan County contacts to route official questions:

  • County custody or bail: San Juan County Sheriff's Office, 297 S Main, Monticello, UT 84535, 435-587-2237. The Sheriff posts bail instructions and takes cash bail around the clock; it does not control the court's case docket.
  • San Juan County or Monticello citations: San Juan County Justice Court, 297 S Main, Monticello, 435-587-2544, jcsanjuan@utcourts.gov. Use the citation or case number and confirm the court before paying.
  • Blanding city citations: Blanding City Justice Court, 167 E 500 N, Blanding, 435-678-2334 ext. 3, JCBLANDING@UTCOURTS.GOV. Published office hours are 8 to 11 Monday through Thursday; Friday hours vary. The court lists Monday morning settings.
  • District-court criminal matters: Seventh District Court in Monticello, 297 S Main, 435-587-2122, montscan@utcourts.gov. Its clerk keeps district-court case records; the County Clerk/Auditor is a different office.
  • Bluff papers: use the court printed on the citation or summons. No Bluff warrant roster or separate town court contact was verified in the official town information reviewed.
  • Resolving a warrant: ask the issuing court about its recall, hearing, or surrender process and consider advice from a Utah-licensed attorney.

For county-level custody, use the official Sheriff contact page. For a court case, use the Utah Courts directory to confirm which clerk has the file. A statewide-search result, payment receipt, or jail inquiry is not itself a court recall order.
